Educational Training Lectures


Educational training lectures are held for researchers who wish to perform animal experiments.

The researcher (or supervisor) that will carry out the animal experimentation as listed in the animal experimentation plan must attend the lecture.

The lecture is held only a few times per year, and therefore, if the researcher needs to begin experimentation before the lecture is held, please contact the department.

  • Definition of animal experimentation
  • Laws that must be followed when performing animal experimentation
  • Overview of Animal Facility use
  • etc.
The lectures are approx. 2 hours.


Dates lectures are held

Held approx. 4 times per year.
(Example yearly schedule: twice in April, once in November, once in January or February)

Eligible parties:

Researchers who wish to perform animal experimentation at Kumamoto University.



Lecture application

You will receive an e-mail (example) from the Animal Care and Use Committee secretariat listing the times and dates the lectures will be held. Respond to the email to apply for attendance.
